The 5K WILL be stroller friendly but it is a dirt trail, jogging stroller highly recomended. (Small wheeled strollers will get stuck in sand/dirt)
Walkers are welcome.

The 1/2 Marathon however...
This will be a true trail run, there will be very little road running, prepare yourself!
Look forward to lots of rocks, sand, dust, desert plants & animals.
All this while you run through desert washes, hills, and jeep trail.
Fun stuff for the sick of mind, strong of heart, and the spirit of a child, be ready for a very cool challenge...
The start finish will be in the center of MonteLago village.
No whining, you've been warned.


*Note- There will be approximately 8 water stations, if this is not enough then we recommend camelbacks or some type of hydration pack.

This trail run is truly the "Beauty and the Beast."
It starts in the Beautiful MonteLago Village, and you run through a Beast of a trail.
You will love to hate it, or hate to love it.

Half marathon and a 5k run/walk at the incredible Lake Las Vegas Resort .
This is the second of a 3 race series. There will be placement points for each race given and a series champion will be crown the "Nevada State Champion."
You may do one or all three of the races.
Sandstorm II will be an incredibly fun race. This race will be in a world class resort.

There will be a great view of Lake Mead AND the city of Las Vegas, not to mention the world class golf courses, cascading waterfalls and the race start / finish at the beautiful MonteLago village.
