Heat Wave #2 is located at Old Lake Mead Harbor at Lake Mead Nevada. A 20 min drive from Las Vegas, 5 minutes from Boulder city. There is a $5 fee to enter the park unless you have a year round pass.

Athletes checking in the day of the race MAY not recieve a swag bag or T-shirt.

-FREE Massages available - Beverly Grant will be giving FREE massages before and after the race, Tips are appreciated.

1 canoe per team. These are fast for a canoe and fit 3 people.

You may bring your own boat or upgrade to a kayak for an extra fee.
$35 per kayak, for a 1 or 2 man rental.
You must inform us by e-mail 1 week ahead of time or you will be required to use the standard race canoe.
***Sails and Kites ARE allowed.
***Mt. Bike Rentals are available but in limited supply.

**Awards ceremony will occur after the top 4 overall teams finish. Division medallists will be given at the finish line upon the teams completion of the race. All racers will receive a race T-shirt, a swag bag and a race completion certificate. A post race BBQ will be provided for all racers and spectators.

Required Personal Gear
(Every person must have & carry their own at all times) This is a fully self supported race where you supply your own food, water, and all other gear. All of this gear is inexpensive yet necessary and can be purchased at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, or any sporting goods store.

-Emergency space blanket.
-Suitable clothes & shoes for all venues.
-Hydration pack or bottles with total capacity of at least 100 ounces to be carried at all times.
